Tourists rush: Federal Capital faces traffic congestion

Due to tourists rush at recreational points, traffic congestion has been observed in the federal capital.

This has been stated in a tweet of the Islamabad Police.

It said that Islamabad Capital Police officers are present on the roads to maintain traffic flow.

The police requested the residents of Daman-e-Koh, Faisal Mosque, Rawal Lake and Murree to exercise patience. It urged tourists going to Margalla Hills to not park their cars and motorcycles on the road.

Besides, the Islamabad Police is also cracking down on one-wheelers and law breakers.

The Police have requested the citizens to follow traffic rules and in case of any emergency, report to Helpline 15.
