Faisalabad: Federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination and Advisor to the Prime Minister on Political and Public Affairs, Rana Sanaullah Khan, emphasized the government’s commitment to safeguarding religious minorities. He spoke as the chief guest at a ceremony in Faisalabad, where Minority Cards were distributed among Punjab’s religious minorities.
According to Radio Pakistan, Rana Sanaullah stated that the country’s development hinges on the welfare of minority communities. He highlighted the government’s dedication to ensuring their protection and support.
During the event, Punjab Minister for Minority Affairs, Ramesh Singh Arora, remarked that the Minority Card is a significant step towards granting identity and recognition to minority community members. He also announced the government’s plan to introduce an e-learning program aimed at increasing educational opportunities for minority children.
