Narowal: Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir has affirmed that the armed forces, supported unwaveringly by the nation, are fully equipped to defend the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the motherland against a full spectrum of threats. His remarks came during his visit to a field training exercise held near Narowal and Sialkot.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Army Chief underscored the importance of being perpetually prepared to counter potential threats posed by adversaries. During his visit, he received a detailed briefing on the exercise’s aims and execution, which focused on honing professional skills and battlefield procedures vital for tackling emerging operational challenges.
The exercise featured integrated fire and maneuver operations executed by various military units, including Armour, Infantry, Mechanized Infantry, Artillery, Air Defence, Army Aviation, and Anti-Tank Guided Missile units. Additionally, it showcased the effective use of electronic warfare capabilities and inform
ation operations aimed at disrupting enemy communications and countering disinformation strategies in a modern battlefield setting.
General Munir praised the training standards, operational readiness, and high morale demonstrated during the exercise.
