Muridke: Minister for Industries and Production Rana Tanveer Hussain has announced that the Utility Stores Corporation (USC) will be restructured and revived. Speaking to newsmen in Muridke, he emphasized the commitment to revamp the USC to better serve the public.
According to Radio Pakistan, Rana Tanveer Hussain mentioned that during the upcoming Ramadan, sugar will be available at a price of 130 rupees per kilogram. This measure is part of the government’s efforts to ensure affordability and accessibility of essential commodities during the holy month.
Additionally, he highlighted the initiatives taken by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif for the development of the agricultural sector. The government aims to revolutionize agriculture through technological integration, and the launch of the Green Punjab Program in Cholistan is a step in this direction. This program is expected to enhance agricultural productivity and sustainability in the region.
