The United States will continue engagement and close collaboration with Pakistan in diverse fields for sustainable development.
This was stated by USAID Mission Director, Reed Aeschliman while addressing the inaugural session of US-Pakistan engagement conference in Islamabad on Tuesday.
He said the United States always has and will continue to assist Pakistan in achieving sustainable growth and tackling social and humanitarian challenges.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister of State for Petroleum Musadik Malik commended the role of Pakistani diaspora in different fields including health, education, science and technology.
He said better collaboration between the diasporas will give impetus to development activities.
The conference aims at exploring new avenues of cooperation and further enhancing the existing relations between diasporas of the two countries in business, investment, IT and tourism sectors.
