US Congressman Pete Sessions extends greetings on Pakistan’s Independence Day


United States Congressman from Texas Pete Sessions says 14th August is a day of celebration, honor and pride that comes from Pakistani Americans as they live in the United States, helping make America and Pakistan and that relationship even stronger.

In a message on Pakistan’s Independence Day, he said today, we honour that not just relationship with Pakistan, but the lives of people who make our world even better.

The US Congressman said commerce, medicine and technology are all areas of contribution that so many Pakistani Americans have made.

He said he has an opportunity to see firsthand not just the conscious relationship between two great nations, but a reliance on each other to make the world better.

Pete Sessions said today is an opportunity for Pakistan America and Pakistani Americans to celebrate August the 14th with reliance upon each other, but the strength of friendship and character, but perhaps more importantly, for freedom and opportunity.

He expressed hope that the Independence Day would
be an important day for Pakistanis and the contributions they continue to make to the United States of America, Pakistan, and a better world.
