Twelve Khwarij killed in Tirah valley: ISPR

Twelve Khwarij of Fitna-Al-Khwarij were killed during intelligence based operations in Tirah Valley of Khyber district on 28th and 29th of this month. According to ISPR, the security forces effectively engaged the Khwarij's locations on reported presence of terrorists. Security forces are conducting extensive Intelligence Based Operations in Tirah Valley, Khyber District on reported presence of Khwarij since 20th of this month. These operations have resulted in a major setback to Fitna-Al-Khwarij and its affiliates, and so far, thirty seven terrorists have been killed, while fourteen others suffered serious injuries. The intelligence based operations will continue till peace in the area is restored and Khwarij are eliminated, as the security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country. President Asif Ali Zardari has commended the security forces for the successful Intelligence Based Operation in Tirah Valley of District Khyber. In a statement the President appr eciated the professionalism of the security forces for the successful operation against Fitna Al-Khawarij. Asif Ali Zardari expressed his determination to root out the menace of terrorism. He said the entire nation stands behind the security forces and these operations will continue against terrorists.
