Three terrorists killed in Dera Ismail Khan: ISPR

Three terrorists have been killed in an exchange of fire with security forces during a clearance operation in Dera Ismail Khan. According to the ISPR, the operation started after terrorists carried out a cowardly attack on a Rural Health Center in Kirri Shamozai area of the district and opened indiscriminate fire on the staff. Resultantly, five innocent civilians, including two Lady Health Workers, two children and a watchman were martyred. Security Forces in the vicinity were immediately mobilized for clearance operation in the health center and they effectively engaged the terrorists. During the operation, Naib Subedar Muhammad Farooq and Sepoy Muhammad Javed Iqbal also embraced martyrdom. Sanitization of area is being carried out to eliminate any other terrorist found in the area. The perpetrators of this heinous and cowardly act targeting innocent civilians, especially women and children, will be brought to justice. Source: Radio Pakistan
