Islamabad:Minister for Information Technology Shaza Fatima has reaffirmed the government's commitment to transforming Pakistan into a technology producer rather than just a consumer. According to Radio Pakistan, Shaza Fatima made these remarks while addressing a ceremony in Islamabad for female students who completed Huawei's Summer ICT Training Programme. She highlighted Pakistan's immense potential and noted that the country's youth are comparable to the world's best professionals. The minister stressed the government's aim to equip young people with digital skills, underscoring the importance of technology across various sectors, including defence. Furthermore, she mentioned that the government is actively working on developing a cybersecurity policy.
