Reconstruction, renovation work on Karnal Sher Khan Shaheed’s Shrine completed


The Pakistan Army has successfully concluded the reconstruction and renovation work on the shrine of the revered Captain Karnal Sher Khan Shaheed in Swabi.

The meticulously executed project, undertaken by the Pakistan Army, witnessed completion within an impressive timeframe of four months.

In a testament to honoring the legacy of the valiant martyr, the newly renovated shrine now stands adorned with commemorative photographs and artifacts, meticulously curated to reflect the profound essence of Captain Karnal Sher Khan’s life and sacrifices.

A solemn yet dignified ceremony was organized at the completion of the reconstruction, symbolizing a moment of reverence and remembrance for the heroic deeds of Captain Karnal Sher Khan. Corps Commander Peshawar, Lieutenant General Hasan Azhar Hayat, presided over the inauguration of the monument, where he laid a floral wreath at the mausoleum and offered prayers in memory of the martyr.

In a poignant gesture of solidarity and respect, Corps Commander Peshawar also
took the opportunity to personally meet with the family of Captain Karnal Sher Khan Shaheed, extending heartfelt tributes for his exemplary service and sacrifice in service of the nation.

The profound gratitude expressed by both the family of Captain Karnal Sher Khan Shaheed and the local community in Swabi stands as a testament to the unwavering commitment and dedication of the Pakistan Army towards preserving the memory of our national heroes.
