A national music competition 2023 namely “Jeetay Ga Pakistan” in connection with 76th Independence Day of Pakistan will be held at National Broadcasting House in Islamabad on Monday.
The basic objective of this event is to promote and hunt new voices and talent for Pakistan’s music industry under the vision of Direction General Radio Pakistan Muhammad Tahir Hassan.
The best performers will be awarded with certificates and various prizes.
Radio Pakistan started special music competition in May this year. Nearly 450 singers from 13 to 30 years of age participated by sending recording of their songs from different parts of the country.
Ten singers were selected for the final competition, who belong to Sargodha, Islamabad, Faisalabad, Gilgit, Quetta, Bahawalpur, Khairpur, Attock, Multan and Rawalpindi.
Meanwhile, Director General Radio Pakistan, in a statement, said the participants of the competition will be offered a Central Contract by Radio Pakistan. Moreover, these singers will be offered an opportunity to sing for various films by the renowned producers and shoot films under the umbrella of Film Fund established by the Government of Pakistan.
