Punjab Govt to take steps for environmental protection: CM

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has said that Punjab Government will take every possible measure for environmental protection. In her message on World Ozone Protection Day, she said that the Provincial Cabinet has already approved the first ever Comprehensive Climate Resilient Punjab Vision and Action Plan 2024 for environmental protection. She said that this Action Plan is meant for flood management, eco-system infrastructure, food security and heat waves. She said that a solar panel program is being launched to ensure environmental protection and generation of cheaper electricity. Source: Radio Pakistan
