President for focusing on development of merged districts

President Dr Arif Alvi has emphasized the need for focusing on development in merged districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

He was talking to tribal elders of the merged districts who called on him in Islamabad on Tuesday.

The President said that the tribal areas of Pakistan have been affected the most due to terrorism therefore priority should be given to education and health sectors in these areas.

The tribal elders informed the President about their issues and said the people of tribal areas have lost their dear ones and livelihood for peace in the country and now they want peace and development.

They called for accelerated work on all ongoing development work in the area.
