PM’s Youth Program Focusing on Social Engagement, Transformation: Rizwan Anwar


Islamabad: Special Representative to the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme on International Linkages, Rizwan Anwar Virk, emphasized the importance of youth as a valuable asset for the country, highlighting the Prime Minister’s focus on youth development.



According to Radio Pakistan, during an interview with correspondent Qasim Bukhari, Rizwan Anwar Virk stated that the Prime Minister’s Youth Program is dedicated to youth development under the leadership of Chairman Rana Mashhood. He noted that the program is concentrating on four key areas: employment, education, environment, and engagement.



He further explained that the program is actively working on social engagement and transformation, creating opportunities for young people. The outcomes of these initiatives are becoming evident, with youth not only seeking employment but also starting businesses that contribute to the economy.



Rizwan Anwar Virk pointed out that Pakistan’s IT sector ranks as the fourth-largest freelancing industry in the world. He praised Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s Laptop Scheme for its role in supporting youth livelihoods and commended Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s announcement to distribute laptops as a positive step for national growth.



He also mentioned the Youth Business Loan Scheme, a national climate plan with internships, and the Assan Karobar Scheme, all of which promote entrepreneurship and job creation.
