A consultative meeting of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz was held in Lahore today with party President Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in chair.
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz also attended the meeting.
The meeting discussed suggestions and measures aimed at providing relief to people especially in electricity bills.
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif apprised the party President about national economic agenda being prepared by the government.
He said a comprehensive economic agenda has been prepared to address economic issues faced by the country.
The Prime Minister said that relief has been provided to consumers consuming up to 200 units in a month.
He said 86 percent of the population has been given relief by reallocation of 50 billion rupees from the development budget.
