PM terms development of Balochistan as key priority

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif says Chaghi mineral corridor is being established in order to fully exploit the mineral resources of Balochistan. He was talking to former Senate Chairman and member of Balochistan Assembly Sadiq Sanjrani, who called on him in Islamabad today. The Prime Minister said that a railway line will be established from Chaghi to Gwadar in order to facilitate the transportation of mineral resources. Highlighting the development projects of Chaghi, Shehbaz Sharif said that government is establishing a grid station over there for bringing improvement in the supply of electricity. He further said that measures are being taken for the incessant supply of water in area. He termed the progress and prosperity of the people of Balochistan as the topmost priority of the government. The Prime Minister was given an update on the Nok Kundi Master Plan, which involves the development of Nok Kundi city. Shehbaz Sharif was praised by the Former Chairman of the Senate for taking practical steps an d showing special interest in the progress and development of province. Source: Radio Pakistan
