Riyadh:Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has strongly condemned the attack by the Houthis militia on King Khalid International Airport.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister expressed that targeting civilians and vital infrastructure is unacceptable and poses a significant threat to regional peace and stability. He described the attack as a flagrant violation of international law, calling for an immediate cessation of such violent acts.
Shehbaz Sharif extended his deepest condolences to the families of the victims and wished a prompt and complete recovery for those injured. He reiterated Pakistan's steadfast support for Saudi Arabia, emphasizing the strong ties between the two nations. The Prime Minister reaffirmed his commitment to the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and security of Saudi Arabia, highlighting the significance of the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement.
