Pakistan Railways announces fare increase

Pakistan Railways has announced one percent to two percent fare increase for all trains from tomorrow. In a press release, Pakistan Railways said that fares would be increased by one percent for all mail, express, intercity, and passenger trains, including outsourced services. The fares for all freight trains have been increased by two percent. Meanwhile, Pakistan Railways has collected an amount of over 76 million rupees from ticket-less passengers in a crackdown during the last six months. Source: Radio Pakistan
