Doha: The second round of Pakistan-Qatar Bilateral Political Consultations took place in Doha, with Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch leading the Pakistani delegation and State Minister for Foreign Affairs Soltan bin Saad Al-Muraikhi heading the Qatari side. The discussions focused on a comprehensive review of bilateral relations, covering political, economic, consular, and people-to-people interactions to further enhance cooperation between the two nations.
According to Radio Pakistan, the delegations also exchanged views on regional and international matters, reaffirming their commitment to continued collaboration and consultation. Both sides recognized the positive progression in bilateral relations and the momentum gained through high-level visits and exchanges.
The consultations concluded with an agreement to further strengthen bilateral ties in all areas of mutual interest. The next round of Pakistan-Qatar Bilateral Political Consultations is scheduled to be held in Islamabad on dates that will be mutually decided.
