Pakistan, Bangladesh Agree to Enhance Cooperation


Rawalpindi: Principal Staff Officer of Bangladesh armed forces division, Lieutenant General S.M. Kamrul Hassan, met with Defence Secretary, retired Lieutenant General Muhammad Ali, in Rawalpindi to discuss expanding bilateral defence collaboration across all domains.



According to Radio Pakistan, the discussions emphasized the importance of strengthening the ongoing relationship between Pakistan and Bangladesh. Defence Secretary Muhammad Ali highlighted Pakistan’s deep appreciation for its ties with Bangladesh, reflecting on the positive trajectory of their bilateral relations.



Lieutenant General S.M. Kamrul Hassan expressed Bangladesh’s desire for a dynamic partnership with Pakistan, aiming for future cooperation that is beneficial to both nations. Both officials expressed satisfaction with the current collaboration and agreed to enhance cooperation in areas that would be mutually advantageous.
