Marriyum Highlights PML-N’s Development Legacy in AJK

Islamabad: Senior Minister of Punjab Marriyum Aurangzeb has said Nawaz Sharif shares a historic and unbreakable bond with the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, where he left a lasting legacy of development.

According to Radio Pakistan, Marriyum Aurangzeb, while addressing a rally in Gujar Khan in connection with the Azad Jammu and Kashmir elections, emphasized that the development projects initiated during Nawaz Sharif's tenure are a testament to the PML-N's commitment to the region. She highlighted various projects, including roads, schools, hospitals, and infrastructure, as well as constitutional reforms like the 13th Amendment, which have contributed significantly to the region's growth.

Marriyum Aurangzeb also praised Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for his efforts in raising the Kashmir issue at international forums, reaffirming Pakistan's unwavering support for the Kashmiri people. She referred to the recent conflict with India, where Pakistan's armed forces, under the leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, provided a strong response to Indian aggression during Marka-e-Haq and Bunyan-um-Marsoos, earning the respect and gratitude of the Kashmiri people.

She reiterated that the PML-N is dedicated to the development and prosperity of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, ensuring that the region's resources benefit its people rather than being exploited. Marriyum Aurangzeb assured that Kashmir's development will progress in tandem with Pakistan's growth.

Minister for Railways Hanif Abbasi, who also spoke at the rally, stated that the Azad Jammu and Kashmir elections are a vote for Pakistan's ideology and for Kashmir's accession to Pakistan. He emphasized that the entire nation stands united against any attempts to undermine Pakistan's sovereignty.
