Housing Minister Advocates for Thalassemia Prevention Measures

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Housing and Works Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada emphasized the need for legislative action, public awareness, and mandatory premarital laboratory tests to combat thalassemia, a blood disorder that poses significant health challenges. The minister made these remarks during the inauguration of an Activity Room for thalassemic children at the Sundas Foundation Thalassemia Centre in Islamabad’s F-9 Park.
