House collapse kills 12 in Upper Dir

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, twelve people including women and children of a same family were killed when a house collapsed due to landsliding in Upper Dir this morning. According to Rescue 1122, all the dead bodies have been shifted to hospital. President Asif Ali Zardari has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic loss of lives in a landslide in district Upper Dir of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. In a statement, he extended heartfelt condolences and expressed solidarity with the families of the deceased. The President also prayed for the elevation of the ranks of those who lost their lives and for granting patience to the bereaved families. Source: Radio Pakistan
