Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl Chief Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman says the incumbent government is waging struggle to rid the country of economic crisis brought about by PTI Chairman Imran Khan.
Talking to media persons in Multan on Sunday, he said the economic instability was solely caused by the PTI Chief, who held the reins for almost four years and led the country towards default.
The JUI-F Chief said Pakistan Democratic Movement foiled the designs of Imran Khan by dislodging his government.
He said Imran Khan is doing politics on the anti-corruption narrative but he never took action against its party members involved in corruption.
Maulana Fazl ur Rahman said Imran Khan also damaged institutions, and slowed down the pace of work on China Pakistan Economic Corridor.
He said the incumbent government is making efforts to address inflation by adopting short term policies.
