Govt Puts Country on Path of Economic Development: Ahsan

Narowal: Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal announced that the incumbent government has put the country on a path of economic development. Addressing a ceremony in Narowal, he highlighted the government’s commitment to economic revival through tough decision-making, prioritizing the nation’s progress over political repercussions.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ahsan Iqbal emphasized that Pakistan’s economic growth is now gaining global recognition, attributing this to the government’s strategic efforts that have drawn international attention towards the country. He further credited former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for eliminating power load shedding during his tenure by generating 11,000 megawatts of electricity within four years.

Ahsan Iqbal mentioned ongoing work on the second phase of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) in collaboration with China, signaling continued progress in development projects. He also introduced the “Uraan Pakistan” initiative, which aims to elevate the national economy to greater heights.

Moreover, the Minister criticized the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for falsely claiming the Saylani ‘Langar Khanas’ as his own initiative and condemned the PTI for organizing protests in London and the United States, which he claimed harmed Pakistan’s international image. He accused the founder of PTI of misusing religious teachings to obscure allegations of corruption.
