Islamabad: Chairman of the Prime Minister Youth Program, Rana Mashhood Khan, has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to involving youth in the decision-making process. Addressing a news conference in Islamabad, he emphasized the government’s determination to transform youth into active partners in shaping the country’s future.
According to Radio Pakistan, Khan highlighted that the members of the Prime Minister Advisory Youth Council have been selected based solely on merit. This move is part of a broader strategy to empower young individuals to advance in various sectors. He also announced the forthcoming launch of the country’s first National Youth Employment Policy, aimed at tackling employment challenges faced by the younger generation.
Rana Mashhood Khan further noted that the government’s effective policies have positively altered Pakistan’s global image, attracting significant interest from investors and other nations. He also remarked on the prestige of hosting the Commonwealth Asia Youth Summit in Pakistan, which will see participation from youth leaders and high-level delegates from twelve countries. The summit will focus on crucial topics such as youth empowerment, education, and skills development.
