Govt Approves National Agricultural Biotechnology Policy 2025 to Boost Agriculture Sector

Islamabad: The government has approved the National Agricultural Biotechnology Policy 2025 to align the country's agriculture sector with modern technological and scientific advancements. This significant policy aims to enhance the agricultural landscape by integrating cutting-edge biotechnology solutions.

According to Radio Pakistan, the policy was formulated following a two-and-a-half-year consultative process involving scientists, farmers, industry representatives, and relevant departments. The extensive discussions and evaluations were crucial to ensuring the policy's comprehensive approach to modernizing agriculture.

The policy aims to support farmers, strengthen food security, increase agricultural productivity, encourage responsible investment, and promote the adoption of modern agricultural technologies.
