The Federal Cabinet has expressed satisfaction over the caretaker government’s steps towards restructuring of different departments, promotion of foreign investment and ease of doing business.
The meeting was held in Islamabad today with caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar in the chair.
The cabinet accorded approval for the receipt of Turkish Armed Forces Legion of Merit Award by Army Chief General Asim Munir in recognition of his efforts for promotion of Pak-Turkish cooperation in defense sector.
The meeting also approved the signing of MOU between the Ministry of National Food Security and the UAE based company Khalifa International Award for Date Palm and agriculture innovation. Under this MOU, the first Pakistan Date Palm festival will be held in September this year with the aim to bolster dates production.
In his remarks on the occasion, the Prime Minister said the caretaker government is leaving the country’s economy in a better situation than before. He said the cabinet showed excellent pe
rformance during this short time.
He said we are leaving behind an action plan for the elected government which will definitely prove to be useful for the people and national interest.
The Prime Minister said that the country’s interest was always given top priority in all the decisions and policy making of the caretaker government. He said we have to work together for the development and stability of Pakistan.
