Culprits involved in attacks to be brought to book: PM

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that the whole nation is sad over the recent heinous and grave violent attacks on state institutions in recent days.

He was talking during a visit to the Safe City Authority Head Office in Lahore on Saturday.

He said that May 9 is a sad day in the country’s history as the historical Jinnah House was attacked by a PTI mob. He said that law will take its course and all culprits involved in the attack will be brought to the book. He said that PTi has done what our staunch enemy could not do.

He said that attacking the forces and their installations presented unprecedented sacrifices for the nation’s sake. He said that martyrs and ghazi’s memorials were demolished which is very sorrowful.

The Prime Minister said that he had chaired a meeting in Islamabad and ordered indiscriminate action against the planners, facilitators and attackers of this anti-state attack.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that the Safe Cities Project is playing an important role in maintaining law and order.

He directed the concerned officials to nab all planners, facilitators and attackers on Jinnah House within seventy two hours. He said that cases against miscreants will be heard before the antiterrorist courts, which should work round the clock to give apt response to the anti-state elements.
