Commerce Minister urges opposition to forge consensus on charter of economy


Commerce Minister Jam Kamal Khan says Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif invited opposition parties to forge consensus on charter of economy in the large interest of the country.

Addressing a press conference in Islamabad today, he assured to resolve the problems and challenges faced by the business community on priority basis to boost trade and business activities in the country.

He said that government has been vigorously pursuing the ease of doing business policy.

Highlighting the performance of government during last five months, the Minister said several financial commitments were made with different countries including Azerbaijan, China, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates, expressing hope it will leave fruitful consequential impacts on the economic fabric of the country.

He said that country is facing intricate challenges which demands long term planning with sincere approach to tackle these challenges.

Jam Kamal Khan said that the incumbent government is heading smartly to resolve the economic probl
ems of country and it will restore the trust of business community.
