CM Punjab unveils ‘Leadership Development Internship Program’

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has launched the Leadership Development Internship Program for environment protection under 'My Punjab Smog Free' campaign. Addressing the launching ceremony in Lahore this evening, she announced to increase the monthly internship stipend from the proposed twenty-five thousand to sixty thousand rupees. The Chief Minister said that employment should be provided to the youth after completion of their internship period. She said the electric buses and e-cabs are being introduced in Punjab for a better environment. The Chief Minister also inaugurated the Green Punjab App, Smog Helpline 1373, Smog Mitigation Program and the Climate Resilient Program and Action Plan. Source: Radio Pakistan
