Balochistan Government and Protest Committee Reach Agreement After Talks

Islamabad: Balochistan government and the protest committee have reached a written agreement following successful talks. Addressing the Jirga, Head of the government negotiating committee and Provincial Health Minister Bakht Muhammad Kakar stated that the successful negotiations between the two parties have paved the way for peace, reconciliation, and mutual trust.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Balochistan government has committed to implementing all legitimate demands of the martyrs' families in line with the established policy. Bakht Muhammad Kakar highlighted that the establishment of a judicial commission, consultations on the law and order situation, and enhancing the capacity of the police are part of the government's measures.

He emphasized that the sacrifices of the martyrs are an asset of the whole nation, and respecting, supporting, and ensuring the welfare of their families is among the foremost responsibilities of the provincial government.
