APHC appeals world human rights organizations to pressure India to release incarcerated Kashmiri leaders


All Parties Hurriyat Conference says people in Indian illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir have been enduring limitless Indian tyranny for demanding their right to self-determination.

In a statement in Srinagar, APHC spokesman said occupation authorities are denying political space to Kashmiris by repeatedly arresting them on fake charges to silence their voice of freedom.

The spokesman appealed to world human rights organizations, including the International Committee of the Red Cross, Asia Watch and Amnesty International to put pressure on India to release the jailed Kashmiris.

National Conference senior leader, Agha Syed Ruhullah Mehdi, in a media interview in Srinagar, said New Delhi has enforced a graveyard silence in Kashmir which it is showcasing as normalcy.

He said no institution is allowed to work freely and even independent journalism has been throttled in the territory.

On the other hand, protests were held in Srinagar and Baramulla districts against the occupation authorities’ anti-people
policies.
