Analysts Praise DPM Ishaq Dar for Clarifying Pakistan’s Position on Gaza Peace Plan

Islamabad: Dr. Abdullah Gul, a defense analyst, recently met with Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar to discuss Pakistan's stance on the State of Palestine. Dr. Gul expressed concerns that had arisen from social media speculations about a potential shift in Pakistan's policy. During their meeting, Ishaq Dar assured him that Pakistan remains committed to the historical policy set forth by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, emphasizing support for aid to Gaza and Palestine, an end to bloodshed, and the prevention of forced displacement in Gaza. Today, Dar addressed the parliament to dispel any uncertainties regarding Pakistan's position. According to Radio Pakistan, Dr. Zahid Anwar Khan, an international relations expert, highlighted that Ishaq Dar's statement effectively countered propaganda suggesting a policy shift. The Deputy Prime Minister reaffirmed Pakistan's unwavering support for Palestine, aligning with Jinnah's original vision. Additionally, Pakistan is actively participating in global efforts to halt t he violence against Palestinians by Israeli forces. The recent Mutual Strategic Defence Agreement between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia is a significant development, reflecting a united front among Muslim countries. This alliance demonstrates the mutual support between the two nations during challenging times. Dr. Abdullah Gul also noted the positive impact of Pakistan's recent defense deal with Saudi Arabia, suggesting potential agreements with other Arab and non-Arab countries.
