Analysts Condemn Israeli Aggression Against Iran

Tel Aviv: Analysts have expressed condemnation over what they describe as unprovoked Israeli aggression against Iran, following a significant military operation involving 200 Israeli fighter jets targeting around 100 sites, including nuclear and military installations within Iran. The attack has affected both civilian and military leadership in Iran, with the possibility of reconciliation appearing bleak as Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu announced the continuation of such attacks. According to Radio Pakistan, former ambassador A M. Shahid remarked that Iran reserves the right to retaliate internationally and legally to the Israeli attacks. He highlighted the double standards of the West regarding the nuclear issue, as Iran is prevented from becoming a nuclear power while Israel remains one. Shahid noted that regional countries have condemned the attack for potentially severe consequences, such as radiation. He also criticized Israel's frequent disregard for international law, particularly regarding settlem ents in Palestinian areas, asserting that Israel faces no legitimate threat from Iran. Dr. Muhammad Khan, an international relations expert, noted that the conflict began despite Iran's cooperation in nuclear talks, and warned of the potential for broader regional conflict. He attributed the major losses suffered by Iran in the attacks to intelligence failures. Khan emphasized that Israel and the US view Iran as a supporter of various regional freedom fighters, leading to continued aggression aimed at dismantling Iranian military power. Dr. Rasheed Ahmad, another international relations expert, agreed that the war was initiated by Israel without provocation and suggested it would continue until Israel achieves its specific objectives. Ahmad pointed out that Iran is preparing for a protracted conflict, intending to limit its spread across the region, akin to the Russia-Ukraine war. He contrasted Iran's elected government with those in other countries where Israel has successfully influenced regime change, im plying that such attempts would fail in Iran.
