AJK IGP Rejects Demands for Negotiations with Violent, Anti-State Elements

Islamabad: Inspector General of Police Azad Jammu and Kashmir has categorically rejected demands for negotiations with violent and anti-state elements. In a statement, he emphasized that no leniency can be shown towards those involved in attacks on police personnel and civilians.

According to Radio Pakistan, the AJK Police Chief expressed that individuals who brutally martyred police officials and desecrated their bodies cannot be treated with any softness. These elements, he noted, have been issuing threats of killing security personnel and causing bloodshed, while also targeting innocent citizens.

Furthermore, the Police Chief underscored that there is no room for any political settlement with those involved in violence against civilians. The state, he asserted, will deal with such elements with full force to ensure the safety and security of its citizens.
