Ahsan Iqbal Emphasizes National Branding to Enhance Pakistan’s Exports

Islamabad:Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Ahsan Iqbal has advocated for robust national and commercial branding as a means to stimulate Pakistan's export growth.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ahsan Iqbal made these remarks during a stakeholder roundtable conference titled "National Branding, Pakistan's Rising Soft Power and Brand-Led Exports" held in Islamabad.

He highlighted that while Pakistan produces high-quality products such as textiles, surgical instruments, and sports goods, the country often fails to capture their full value due to marketing under foreign brands.

The Minister outlined a national brand strategy centered around seven key pillars: Culture, Exports, Governance, Diplomacy and Defence, Entertainment, Tourism, and Sports.
