Islamabad:Pakistan Customs has foiled an attempt to smuggle thirty-five kilograms of contraband at Islamabad International Airport.
According to Radio Pakistan, the seized contraband is valued at an estimated 660 million rupees and has been taken into Customs custody. An FIR has been lodged against the accused passenger under relevant legal provisions.
Further investigations are ongoing to determine the source and intended destination of the contraband, as well as other aspects of the smuggling attempt.
