Karachi: The Sindh government is set to launch the pilot phase of the Facial Recognition Attendance Monitoring and Evaluation System for teaching and non-teaching staff across six districts of the province tomorrow.
According to Radio Pakistan, a statement issued by the Sindh School Education Department identified the districts participating in the pilot phase as Karachi East, Hyderabad, Naushehro Feroze, Jacobabad, Ghotki, and Umerkot.
In this initial phase, the new system will monitor the attendance of approximately fifty thousand teaching and non-teaching staff members in educational institutions within these districts. Additionally, the staff will have the convenience of submitting leave applications through the app from home, with approvals being processed online.
