Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has asserted that elements attempting to undermine the Kashmir cause will not be permitted to achieve their malicious aims. He addressed these concerns regarding the banned Joint Action Committee's activities in Azad Kashmir, speaking alongside Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhary.
According to Radio Pakistan, Attaullah Tarar emphasized that the banned committee seeks to disturb the peace and order of the state, reacting to the successful and peaceful conduct of elections where citizens actively participated in voting. He condemned the committee as having no interest in peace, labeling them as militants whose true intentions have now been revealed.
Tarar highlighted a recent news conference by the Secretary Information AJK and the State Police spokesperson, stating that the federal government fully supports the AJK government's determination to confront this disruptive group. He assured that the group would not be allowed to further its anti-Kashmir agenda.
Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhary also spoke during the event, reaffirming that the federal government would provide comprehensive support to the AJK government in maintaining peace and order. He stressed that no one would be permitted to interfere with the peaceful and democratic elections in AJK or prevent the people from exercising their democratic right to elect their government.
