US Congressmen Commend Pakistan’s Diplomatic Contributions in US-Iran Relations

Islamabad: US Congressmen Michael Baumgartner and Ryan Zinke have commended Pakistan's growing diplomatic role in regional peace efforts, specifically highlighting its mediation between the United States and Iran.

According to Radio Pakistan, during their visit to Islamabad, Congressman Michael Baumgartner praised Pakistan's constructive role in diplomacy between the United States and Iran, as well as its efforts regarding the situation in Gaza. He expressed optimism about the future of Pakistan-US relations, stating that they are poised to become stronger.

Baumgartner also emphasized the expanding people-to-people and business ties, noting that the relationship is evolving beyond its traditional focus on security.

Congressman Ryan Zinke echoed these sentiments, stating that US President Donald Trump, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif maintain strong communication. He expressed confidence that bilateral ties are currently at their strongest, underscoring the importance of continued dialogue and cooperation between the two nations.
