Islamabad: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has directed authorities concerned to ensure comprehensive safety arrangements around seasonal streams, low-lying areas, rivers, and canals amid the ongoing monsoon spell.
According to Radio Pakistan, in a statement today, she also directed district administrations to closely monitor weak and dilapidated roofs and advised people to stay away from buildings and houses at risk of collapse.
