Muzaffarabad: The Azad Jammu and Kashmir government has withdrawn previous concessions related to protest and agitation cases of the proscribed Joint Awami Action Committee before various competent criminal courts in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. According to Radio Pakistan, it was agreed in the agreement of October 4, 2025, to resolve the issues through the implementation committee. However, holding protests, pressuring, and creating chaos by coming to the streets is a violation of the agreement. Consequently, cases that had previously been closed have been reinstated following the alleged violation of the agreement, in accordance with its terms. The Law, Justice, Parliamentary Affairs and Human Rights Department of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir government has also issued a notification to this effect.
