Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has directed the officials concerned to execute all transactions of privatization as per law and extend a level-playing field to all participants in this process. He was chairing a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Privatization in Islamabad today.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Privatization Commission and Ministry of Privatization provided a detailed briefing to the committee on the privatization process in Pakistan. The Committee reviewed the entire process taken extensively by the Privatization Commission, pored over the recommendations, and stressed the need to strictly follow policies, laws, and procedures laid down by the government and employ best international practices of privatization.
