Islamabad: 8th of September is very significant for Pakistan Navy as we pay homage to heroes of 1965 war. On this day we also pay tribute to all those people who fought gallantly and won victory for Pakistan. On this day we undertook Operation Dwarka and our warships successfully targeted enemy's Radar and other installations at Dwarka and caused significant damage to the Indian side. Over the period Pakistan Navy has a very considered strategy as a goal we believe that we should be a peaceful co-existent. To achieve this goal, Pakistan Navy has developed itself as a strong force; capable, deterrent and defensive force. We don't have any designs against any country in the region but we want that no other country should be allowed to threaten any partnership in the area. We are proud to be part of this force because we have very formidable character. According to Radio Pakistan, the 8th of September is a day of great significance for the Pakistan Navy, marking the commemoration of its heroes from the 1965 war . Rear Admiral (R) Moazzam Ilyas, a defense analyst, emphasized the importance of this date as a moment to honor those who demonstrated bravery and secured victory for Pakistan. Operation Dwarka was a pivotal event, during which Pakistan's naval forces successfully executed an attack on enemy installations at Dwarka, inflicting considerable damage on the Indian side. Over time, the Pakistan Navy has evolved into a formidable force with a keen strategic vision focused on peaceful coexistence. The Navy prides itself on being a capable, deterrent, and defensive entity, with no aggressive designs against regional countries, while ensuring that no external threats compromise regional partnerships.
