SCO Defense Ministers’ Meeting Convenes in Qingdao, China

Qingdao: The Defense Ministers' Meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states took place in Qingdao, a city in East China's Shandong Province. The meeting was held on Thursday with Chinese Defense Minister Dong Jun serving as the host and delivering key remarks. According to Radio Pakistan, during his address, Minister Dong Jun emphasized the significance of the SCO's role in stabilizing global dynamics amidst current international challenges. He stated that China is eager to collaborate with all member states to adhere to the founding principles of the SCO and to further the "Shanghai Spirit." Participants at the meeting collectively affirmed their dedication to enhancing strategic communication, fostering practical cooperation, and working collaboratively to sustain peace and stability in the region.
