Death Anniversary of Mushtaq Ahmad Yousafi Observed

Karachi: The 7th death anniversary of renowned Pakistani satirist Mushtaq Ahmad Yousafi was observed Friday. Born in Rajasthan, India in 1923, Yousafi migrated to Pakistan following the partition. According to Radio Pakistan, Yousafi made significant contributions to Urdu literature through his works of satire and humor. His notable books include "Aab-e-Gum," "Chiragh Talay," "Khakam Badahan," and "Zarguzasht." Yousafi's writings are celebrated for their wit and insight into human nature, making him a beloved figure in literary circles. Yousafi passed away in Karachi in 2018, leaving behind a legacy that continues to influence writers and entertain readers. His works remain an important part of Urdu literature, cherished for their clever use of language and sharp social commentary.
