Romina Emphasizes on Skill Development for Women


Islamabad: Coordinator to the Prime Minister on Climate Change Romina Khurshid Alam has emphasized the importance of integrating skill development for women alongside traditional education. Speaking at a ceremony in Islamabad on Thursday, she highlighted the necessity of promoting skill-based education to empower women and making them self-reliant.



According to Radio Pakistan, Romina Khurshid Alam noted that Pakistani women are making remarkable strides across various fields, showcasing their talent and potential to succeed at every level. She emphasized the importance of skill development as a means to further empower women in Pakistan.



Romina Khurshid Alam also acknowledged the resilience and strength of women residing in rural areas, who often face numerous challenges in their daily lives. She called for recognition and praise for these women who continue to overcome obstacles.



She further noted that women have representation in every field in Pakistan, and this is expected to grow even further in the future. The integration of skill-based education is seen as a pivotal step in facilitating this growth and ensuring women have the tools they need to succeed.
