Rain-Wind and Thunderstorm with Snowfall Expected in Northern Regions


Islamabad: Intermittent widespread rain-wind and thunderstorms, along with snowfall over the hills, are expected in Upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pothohar region, Islamabad, Murree, and Galliyat during the next twelve hours. Heavy rainfall and snowfall are also likely at a few places during this period.



According to Radio Pakistan, isolated rain-wind and thunderstorms, as well as hailstorms, are expected in South Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, North East Balochistan, and North East and Central Punjab. Other parts of the country are likely to experience partly cloudy weather.



The temperature of major cities recorded this morning includes Islamabad and Quetta at thirteen degrees centigrade, Lahore at fifteen, Karachi at twenty-one, Peshawar at eleven, Gilgit and Murree at three, and Muzaffarabad at ten degrees centigrade.



In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the weather forecast predicts cloudy conditions with chances of rain, wind, thunderstorms, and snow in Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula. Jammu is also expected to have cloudy weather with rain and thunderstorms.



The temperatures recorded this morning in these regions are Srinagar, Pulwama, Shopian, and Baramula at three degrees centigrade, Jammu at sixteen, Leh at minus five, and Anantnag at four degrees centigrade.
