PM Shehbaz Sharif Engages in Key Diplomatic and Economic Talks in Baku


Baku: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif is set to have a full schedule in Baku, Azerbaijan, focusing on strengthening diplomatic and economic ties. The Prime Minister will start his day by meeting President Ilham Aliyev at the Presidential Palace, where he will receive a Guard of Honour.



According to Radio Pakistan, the agenda includes bilateral and delegation-level meetings aimed at enhancing cooperation between Pakistan and Azerbaijan. Both leaders will participate in the signing ceremony of several Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and agreements, culminating in a joint press conference.



In addition to the political engagements, Prime Minister Sharif will visit the Victory Monument, honoring the heroes and martyrs of the 44-day Nagorno-Karabakh War. This gesture underscores the importance of historical and cultural ties between the two nations.



Furthermore, the Prime Minister will address the Pakistan-Azerbaijan Business Forum, a platform designed to boost trade and investment between the countries. This initiative is expected to pave the way for future economic collaborations.



The day’s events will conclude with a dinner hosted by President Aliyev in honor of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the Pakistani delegation, marking the significance of this diplomatic visit.
